Pokémon GO 在 3 月尾推出「田野調查」和「特殊調查」任務，「特殊調查」任務可以捕捉夢幻（港譯：夢夢），而做滿 7 日就能通過的「田野調查」，獎品一直都是火焰鳥，由於「田野調查」任務較簡單，故部分訓練員可能捕捉了數次火焰鳥。
今晨 Pokémon GO 終於宣佈會在美西時間 5 月 1 日下午 1 時（香港/台灣時間翌日凌晨 4 時）更新最全新「田野調查」任務和獎品，新任務將會集中在飛行和電擊系寶可夢，做滿 7 日就有機會捕捉閃電鳥了。
