iOS 11.4 針對 HomePod 加入 AirPlay 2 和立體聲配對、修正黑點 bug、支援 iMessage on iCloud 等新功能，但是這個版本的 iOS 也出現多個問題，除了電力容易被榨乾之外，連相機也出現問題。
不少果粉最近透過 Twitter 發帖，指升級 iOS 11.4 後相機 App「黑屏」或出現嚴重失焦問題。其中一名 Twitter 用戶 Wizard Design 投訴 iPhone 6/6s/7 升級 iOS 11.4 之後相機 App 黑屏，這情況已經很多次，只能重新開機才能夠重新使用相機，質問究竟發生什麼事情。

有關 iOS 11.4 相機問題，蘋果其實已經知情，Apple Support 在 Twitter 解答另一位受害者有關相機 App「黑屏」問題時指，這不是正常的情況，蘋果已經組織團隊解決這個問題，Apple Support 分享了一個連結，希望用戶回報問題是否已經解決。
