華為被美國封鎖，令 Google 不能授權華為的手機使用 Android，令海外手機的銷情告急。不過，來自 AndroidPolice 的報導，大量華為手機用戶突然看到鎖機畫面出現 Booking.com 字樣出現在 Wallpaper 上，當中包括 P30 Pro、P20、P20 Lite、Honor 10 及 P20 Pro。
用戶全是使用預設於手機的 Wallpaper，無數用戶感到不滿，上載圖片到 Twitter 。而暫時已確認出現類似廣告的地區，最少有英國、荷蘭、愛爾蘭、南非、挪威和德國。而想移除廣告的方法，就是更變其他自訂 Wallpaper，不用華為提供 Wallpaper 的才行。
