早前 Microsoft 在 Build 大會上發佈 Windows Terminal 工具，這套工具集傳統 CMD、PowerShell 及 Windows Subsystem for Linux 於一身。開發者甚至可以在 Windows Terminal 來 Compile 程式，
今天 Microsoft 正式將這套工具的 Preview 版於 Windows Store 上架。Windows Terminal 設有 Tab 分頁功能支援，也提供不同的 Theme 讓用戶將 Terminal 按照個人的喜好作出個人化。而 Windows Terminal 本身支援 GPU-based text rendering 甚至 Emoji 也有，文字也以 DirectX-based 來 render。
為了提升 Windows Subsystem for Linux 的效能，Microsoft 更特意將完整的 Linux Kernel 引進 Windows 10，對開發者來說可謂相當方便。
