WWDC 是一個以軟件為主的發佈會，主角是 iOS、macOS、watchOS、tvOS 等作業系統。然而，蘋果偶然也會在 WWDC 發佈一些新產品。例如，2019 年 WWDC 便發佈 Mac Pro 及 Pro Display XDR。那麼今年又有沒有新產品呢？近半年，曾傳出會在 WWDC 推出的產品名字也有不少，例如 Apple TV、AirPods Studio、iMac、AirTags 等等。
Jon Prosser 表示，現時看好像不會有新硬件產品發佈，但也可能會估錯，也樂意真的估錯。

Max Weinbach 表示，他從兩個跟 WWDC 無關的消息來源得知今年 WWDC 不會有硬件產品發佈。
I had two sources tell me no hardware for WWDC tomorrow. They aren’t on WWDC related teams but heard it through the Apple grapevine. I’d take this with a grain of salt, but thought it was worth mentioning.

彭博科技記者 Mark Gurman 表示，他不會預期有任何硬件產品會在 WWDC 發佈。
