Epic Games 早前因為 Fortnite 加入繞過 App Store 及 Google Play 的內購付費功能後，先後被 Apple 及 Google 將這套著名手遊下架。
今天，Epic Games 透過 Fortnite 官方網站 FAQ 更新，通知用戶 iPhone、iPad、Mac 無法在 8 月 27 日收到 Season 更新。至於 Android 平台，則可透過 APK 方式推出，不用經 Google Play 進行。雖然不少手遊也可不經 App Store/Google Play，只透過更新包來升級，但看來 Epic 無意為 iOS 玩家提供更新，以示「抗議」？
