相信仍有不少人在用 Windows 7 或 Windows 8.x，基本上一般情況下多數軟件也可支援。不過，Microsoft 近日宣佈，OneDrive 將不再支援 Windows 7 及 Windows 8.x。
Microsoft 表示，為了集中資源在新技術及新作業系統，為用戶提供最新及最安全的體驗，2022 年 1 月 1 日起，One Drive 新版不會支援 Windows 7、Windows 8 及 Windows 8.1。
而到 2022 年 3 月 1 日更會停止讓 Windows 7、Windows 8 及 Windows 8.1 用戶透過 OneDrive Desktop 版進行同步，而用戶只能用 Web 版進行檔案上下載。
