微軟在發佈 Windows 11 的其中一個重點是支援在 Windows 下運行 Android 應用。不過暫時只是跟 Amazon 合作，透過 Amazon App Store 為 Windows 11 提供 Android 應用。至於 Android 應用的主流 Google Play 是未有跟 Microsoft 合作。
不過，近日在 Google 的 Game Awards 活動中，發言人 Alex Garcia-Kummert 提及到 2022 年開始，玩家可在更多平台體驗 Google Play 遊戲，無逢切換到手機、平板、Chromebook 及即將要來的 Windows PC。
Google 會讓更多的 Google Play 遊戲擴展到更多的平台，如手提電腦及桌面電腦。這將會由 Google 帶來的原生 Windows App 分發版本，可支援 Windows 10 或以上（包括 Windows 11），而且不是 Game Streaming 方式出現。
