來自 MacRumors 的爆料，明年9 月將推出的 iPhone 16 系列中，Pro 系列螢幕會變得更大，至於 iPhone 16 標準版及 iPhone 16 Plus 則與目前市面上的 iPhone 15 及 15 Plus 幾乎維持不變，僅重量稍微增加了 2g。這也意味著，Apple 並不打算重新推出 iPhone mini，而將持續推出 iPhone Plus。
加入 Action 按鈕
不過，iPhone 16 也將有一些新功能，例如可能會加入iPhone 15 Pro 系列的 Action 按鈕，甚至可能新增一個全新的「Capture 按鈕」。
改為 iPhone 12 相機垂直排列
另外，報導指 iPhone 16 標準版及 iPhone 16 Plus 會使用類１似於 iPhone 12 的垂直排列相機設計。
