Apple 宣佈推出 iPhone 16e，而它是現時最便宜的 Apple Intelligence iPhone，但仍具備完整的 Apple Intelligence 功能。不過，與其他 iPhone 16 系列相比，存在兩個小差異。
Visual Intelligence 啟動方式不同
Visual Intelligence 是 Apple Intelligence 的一部分，能透過相機識別物件、進行 ChatGPT 問答或 Google 視覺搜尋，甚至能自動從海報或告示牌建立行事曆事件。iPhone 16 和 iPhone 16 Pro 具備 Camera Control 按鈕，可快速啟動這項功能，但 iPhone 16e 缺少這個按鍵，必須改用其他方式。
用戶可將 Action 按鈕（動作按鈕）設定為 Visual Intelligence 的快捷鍵，但這樣會犧牲其他功能，如快速開啟相機或靜音裝置。另一個方式是透過控制中心啟動，這是目前 iPhone 16e 獨有的選項，未來可能會拓展到 iPad，但 iPhone 15 Pro 仍不太可能獲得此功能。
邊緣亮光略有不同
另一個小變化是 Siri 的邊緣亮光視覺效果。iPhone 15 Pro、iPhone 16 和 iPhone 16 Pro 採用 Dynamic Island 設計，螢幕邊緣的光效可均勻圍繞整個螢幕，而 iPhone 16e 則仍採用較舊的瀏海設計，因此光效會圍繞瀏海區域，而非完整的螢幕邊緣。
此變化僅影響視覺呈現，對 Apple Intelligence 功能本身並無任何影響。除非對畫面對稱性極度講究，否則這個細節並不會影響使用體驗。
